Hi! Today I made a data lost on my pinphone. I was trying to restore the settings on it and I accidentaly formated the SD Card.

Now the icons Opera, Google Maps and Facebook doesnt work.

Somebody can be kind and zip the missing folders of the SD card and upload them to rapidshare or somewhere else?? Help will be appreciated.

This are the current folders I have (empty of course). Dont care about audio or images, I need to get the files that make the above apps to work.

    Audio
    Ebook
    Images
    MyMusic
    Photos
    Picture
    Received
    Videos

    Thank you

    Diego

    Check out this download:

    http://chinamobiles.org/downloads.php?do=file&id=209

It also includes some system files from the SD card.

THE ARE SOME HIDDEN FOLDERS INCLUDED!!!

So, make sure to make hidden folders visible before you copy all the files and folders to your SD card.

    Thanks Colonel!!! You saved me!!

By the way, I figured out of something. Seems that this phone was under testing cause inside the java folder there are lot of Java Apps.

    for example in

    /JAVA/app

there is the operamini41.jar file, this is what makes Opera icon to work. So if you put other file here with the same name, the icon will open it.
Would be nice to descramble the rom file and check the feature to modify icons in order to add shorcuts.

Other thing, the other day I was able to enter to *#3234# and *#4234# but for some reason after I entered *#5234#, *#6234# (gaves a black screen), *#7234# ,*#8234#, *#9234# (gaves me a "done" message) I cant access to factory or engineering mode anymore. Hardware reset and software reset didnt do anything. I only can check 1234 and 2234 codes.

Somehow its locked and must be a secret code to unlock it but there is not too much documentation on it.

    Thanks

One of those codes must have disabled the engineer and factory mode :(

There is no way to enable them again with a code, the only thing that will bring back the EM and FM is a firmware flash.

Opera, Google Maps and Facebook icons don't work

Hi ColonelZap! It's very nice to finally find a Pinphone forum as it's very hard to find information on it...

Just read the post above and somehow it matches the issue that I'm having... I have a Pinphone 3GS and the Opera, Google Maps and Facebook icons wouldn't open their respective apps. When I click on them I get the following error: "Not possible to open".
I was wondering if maybe I deleted any files by accident like the other fellow did... Do you have any clues on why these application don't work?
Do you know where I can find the original files for firmware i835NG_FN_CA_W_V1_1_9?

    Thanks!

I don't have the original V1.1.9 files but in my link above you'll find some of the original SD card files from a different fimware version.

Important is the HIDDEN "Java/app" folder, it contains the java apps that are being launched by icons.
