Hi, I'm Paul and am in doubt if English or German will be more appreciated here.
I joined this forum because because I found the blog of Colonel Zap quite good and have confidence that there people here that know what they are talking about.
I'm not at all interested in mobile phones but I want to buy a android tablet.
I'm a Linux affectionado and quite active on the Archbang forums; AB is an easy install Arch Linux distribution.
I'm much concerned about user autonomy and wouldn't be found dead with a IPad.
Apple user enslavement with the app store etc is very worrying to me.
In my Dutch blog I show that Google with Android also has to be criticized in many of their management and software development choices.
Nonetheless ICS looks like a great platform that I want to explore and see how it deals with the issues I'm concerned about.
The recent Ployer Momo review Angry Birds edition give me the feeling; yes, this is a device I would like to have.
I would by it in a local shop if I could find it there.
Yesterday evening I had nearly bought it form fastcardtech but was unsure about shipping method and if I could take the risk and uncertainty of ordering from China.
I would like it if there would be more exchange about reseller experiences and how long it takes and best practices and so on.
Living near de German border I think we might experience quite the same.
