Die neue Sciphone Software v4. ist released:

Dear Subscriber

The v4 upgrade is ready to download for your phone.
You will need the last Dora upgrade tool version to upgrade to v4 release. Dora will update automatically to last version if you have an internet connection on your computer.
The Upgrade process uses the same procedure than previous v3 release.
Once you have v4 installed in your phone, you will not need the flash cable, Dora or other flash tool for future upgrades.

Open Dora
On step #1 select comm. port and click Next
On step #2 click Next (if you delete Dora from your computer, you will need reinstall it again from www.javquisoft.com/dora )

On Step #3
Unselect backup options (if you want create an additional backup of your phone book will be ok)
Verify that “Firmware“ box has “JS_4_0_0.bin”
Verify that “User Data” has “Retain existing”


If you have any problem with the upgrade, please use the support service at www.javquisoft.com/support. We have some delays at this time, we are working hard to provide a better response time in few days.

First time after upgrade, probably the phone will need some extra seconds to start. The new v4 will format two new internal storage disks to save music, ring tones, system sounds, images, icons, languages and other files.


Overview v4
- Dora upgrade tool and special flash cable are not necessary for future upgrades with V4 release. V4 can receive next upgrades from other sources.
- Ring tones and other System sounds can be configured by user easily (include mp3 files for ring tones)
- System images and wallpapers can be configured by user easily.

The v4 upgrade come with many new features. To install the new features, the upgrade process requires two steps:
1.- using your flash cable and dora, flash the phone to v4.0.0 release
2.- install new mods files using your regular serial cable, Bluetooth or download from internet from your phone directly.

Upgrade files (Mods files for step#2 ) will be released when finish the step #1 with all current subscribers

Und wie mach ich das die Software auf meins draufzubekommen auf mein i68+?

Muss ich da was beachten?

HAllo, so hier dann mal noch meine Erfahrungen mit http://www.mysciphoneshop.com/

Ich dacht ich bestelle mir mal dort ein Upgrade ,großer Fehler. Habe mich also darauf eingelassen und dort bestellt und mit PayPal bezahlt, dann folgte das lange warten. Nach 2Wochen Stille meine ersten Versuche Kontakt aufzunehmen. Leider war anscheined WHITT inzwisschen verstorben
Ich setzte mich mit PayPal in Verbindung und siehe da die konnten ihn wiederbeleben!!! Nun erhielt ich regelmäßig Mails von dem auferstandenen WHITT siehe hier:
Please cancel paypal dispute for sciphone item you order should arrive shortly.

Ich gab Ihm nocheinmal 2Wochen. Aber außer diese Mails nischt. Ergo mein Geld von PayPal erhalten. Glück gehabt und die Seite von http://javquisoft.com/ sieht auch schon seit einer Weile anders aus.


Nun warte ich auf mein ZOHO V709.

Javquisoft war mir von der ersten Sekunde an suspekt, das hatte ich auch öffentlich geäußert und wurde (fast) aus dem sciphone forum gebannt

Ich wurde im Endeffekt zwar nicht rausgeschmissen, jedoch werden Threads von mir mit "wichtigen" Informationen dort gelöscht
