I ordered a YoPhone v3 from AChinaSeller and they sent me a SoPhone I'm guessing.
The back cover comes off and the sim card goes inside. But also the side sim opens up to a microsim?
I put my TMobile USA sim card in and it tells me No Service.
Can anyone help me out and give me more info? Do I have to do special steps to make it activate?

Check your IMEI(s) by dialing *#06#

See if you have one or two valid IMEI numbers.

O.k., if the IMEI is there then the problem is something else. I am GUESSING that your phone is a dualband only (GSM 900/1800) but in the US you need GSM 800 / 1900.

well it's pretty messed up that they sent me a phone different than the one i ordered. it clearly said quadband.
i created a dispute through paypal and paypal told me to just return it with tracking and they'll refund me.

That's definitely the best you can do. If it's not a quadband, there is no way it'll work in the US
