Ist es denn üblich, dass man als Händler ein Testmuster aus einer Vorabproduktion (also in Form eines Prototypen) erhält? Macht es nicht viel mehr Sinn, aus Sicht der Herstellers, erst das fertige Produkt zwecks Prüfung an die fachkundigen Händler weiter zu geben? Welcher Händler verlässt sich denn auf die Versprechen, welche bis zum (Massen-)Produktionsstart höhere Qualitätsstandards bei der Verarbeitung und eine besser arbeitende Software versichern? Auf dieser Basis gibt doch kein Händler eine Vorab-Order raus.

Wenn es um OEM geht werden auch Prototypen verschickt. Kleinere Probleme (Betriebssystem, Qualitätsmängel usw.) sind an der Tagesordung, werden aber im Laufe der Entwicklung beseitigt. Die Entwicklung (Design, Marketing usw.) dauert bis zu einem halben Jahr. Innerhalb dieser Zeit wird RAM und auch ROM gewechselt, das Betriebssystem angepaßt, Akkutypen gewechselt... glaub mir, das paßt schon so erst kommt ein Prototyp, dann ein Vorabmuster, dann das vorläufige Produktionsmuster, dann das Freigabemuster ("10 out of 100") und dann wird produziert. Zwischenzeitlich läßt man sich noch nach China zum Kaffee einladen und besichtigt die Produktionsstätten. Qualitätskontrollen vom TÜV Rheinland China, Qualitätskontrollen diverser chinesischer Testlaboratorien blahblahblah...
Kurz:
Wenn ein Prototyp schon Mist ist muß man nicht erst auf ein Produkt warten, dann schaut man sich besser erst mal nach einer Alternative um

Lenovo bringt bald das S720 raus (auch 4,5", 1Ghz dual Code, 1 GB Ram, 4 GB Rom). ich glaub bis das G3 aufm Markt kommt interessiert sich keiner mehr dafür

Jiayu gibt an mit der Qualität des (LG) Displays nicht zufrieden zu sein. Vielleicht hat es mit der niedrigen Helligkeit des Displays zu tun, die ich mal in einem Beitrag erwähnt hatte. Sie suchen nun nach einem neuen Lieferanten. Wobei nach meinen Informationen die Auswahl an 4.5" 1280x720 Displays recht gering sein dürfte. Neben LG kenne ich zumindest keinen Hersteller. JDI hat noch ein 4.3" mit 1280x720 im Angebot.
