Naja, ich finde das Design etwas ... polierter Edelstahl gehört für mich auf einen Delorean, aber irgendwie nicht auf ein Telefon. Die Intel-CPU finde ich spannend, denn für Android x86 gibt es eine Wine Version die es erlaubt, Windows Programme auszuführen. Da sind auch die 5,5" ganz praktisch.

DLNA ? Was will ich denn mit einer protokollueberladenen SMB Schnittstelle, jeder CIFS oder NFS Share bietet bessere Performance als dieser zwangsstandardisierter Kram. Sorry, aber damit holste du mich nicht ab

Allerdings weiss ich grad nicht, was DLNA mit HDMI zu tun hat ? Das eine - HDMI - ist eine reine digitale Bild/Ton Schnittstelle (freilich "kann" die auch Netzwerkdaten uebertragen), das andere - DLNA - ist ein Datenprotokoll basierend auf TCP/IP.

Und mir gehts darum, dass ich unterwegs (beruflich im Hotel) einfach mal mein Smartphone an einen TV anschliessen kann und Videos von der SD Card abspiele.

Was WiDi betrifft - wieviele Geraete unterstuetzen diesen Intel-proprietaeren Kram aktuell ? Das ist fuer mich noch keine Alternative. Nette Idee, aber nicht praktikabel, vielleicht in 2 Jahren mal, wenn sie sich, wie gerade in aktiver Arbeit, durch DRM abschotten. Dann ist das auch gestorben.

Also was genau willst Du mit HDMI machen, was Du nicht heute kabellos tun kannst? Widi wird vom hier diskutierten Telefon unterstützt, vom Oppo Find 5, von meinem LG Fernseher, von meinem Notebook und es werden immer mehr. Zur Not gibt es Adapter, die bei den Preisen diese patentbeladenen HDMI Mist (wenn man Qualität will) auch nicht viel teuerer sind. Und DLNA kann mittlerweile auch jede blöde Kiste, dabei ist mir wurscht, ob Du das Protokoll für performant hälst, oder nicht, es funktioniert.

Ums kurz zu machen (obwohl ich es im vorigen Posting schon einmal geschrieben habe). Zuhause brauche ich das nicht, da habe ich perfekte Infrastruktur, die auch mit BluRay Strukturen/ISOs bis 70 Mbit/s (mehr kenne ich bis dato nicht) umgehen kann. Da spielt mein Smartphone fuer Video ueberhaupt keine Rolle.

Ich brauche HDMI fuer unterwegs. Und dort kann ich mir die Hardware (Fernseher) leider nicht aussuchen, sondern muss auf mehrheitlich vorhandenes setzen. Und dies ist HDMI. Smartphone raus, Kabel ran und rein damit in den Flatscreen. Und HDCP spielt keine Rolle, da ich dies noch bei keinem Smartphone (nichtmal Samsung) gesehen habe.

Ueber DLNA koennen wir uns bei Interesse wo anders unterhalten, dass passt in der Tat hier nicht nicht hin. Fuer CAM Rip AVIs oder H.264/MPEG4 codierte runtergerechnete Videos bis 30 Mbit/s reicht es. Das sind aber nicht meine Ansprueche.

Du schuldest mir eine Tastaturreinigung und einen neuen Kaffee! Als ich "gedrosselt" gelesen habe, dachte ich so an 15.000 oder so, aber selbst so stellt der ja jeden ARM in den Schatten. Hat das S4 wirklich nicht mehr? Ich denke das Teil soll 8 (in Worten acht) Kerne haben und der Intel ist nur ein Dual-Core.

Vor allem muss man sich dafür nicht fürs ganze Leben verschulden. Es kostet zwar etwas mehr als die meisten Quad-Cores hier, aber es hat auch ein paar mehr Feature, wobei jeder selbst wissen muss, ob er diese braucht, oder nicht. Alles in allem passt es damit aber in eine ordentliche Preisgestaltung, die die meisten hier ja suchen.

Das Lenovo soll ja einen richtigen Knallerpreis haben, aber ich bin mir sicher, dass der nicht in Europa ankommen wird. Da lobe ich mir den internationalen Direktvertrieb von Oppo.
