GSM networks of Sophone 4

Hello everybody. Well, i know the Sophone 4 isn't quadband and only works with gsm networks 1800/900 (These networks don't work in USA and Chile, my country) ... So ... will go on sale a new version of Sophone quadband? You know another phone like Sophone 4? Thanks and sorry for my english !

The Pinphone 4GS is a quadband

But here is something you could try and I am VERY interested if it'll work:

Go into the Engineer Mode of your Sophone by dialing

*#9001#

You'll find "Network Setting" on the very top, then "Band Selection"

try to change it to GSM 850 or 1900 or 850/1900

PLEASE BE CAREFUL in the engineer mode, do NOT change anything else there, chances are you might BRICK YOUR PHONE!!!!

Anyway, please let us know if this works

Thanks for the reply. I haven't bought the Sophone for that reason, the bands of frequency ... well, the Pinphone is really good but i prefer a Sophone 4 ... Nobody has yet tested this "trick" of Engineer mode? Thanks.

PD: Another thing I forgot. Where can i buy the sophone with Android or Pinphone 4gs (With good price)? Because i understand a little bit of english but nothing of chinese jaja. Thanks!
