Ich mag Innovation, aber ich habe doch sehr starke Bedenken, dass die Displaystelle des Fingerabdruckleser mehr verschleissen wird, als die anderen Displaybereiche.

Selbst oberflächengehärtetes (Gorilla) Glas gibt da irgendwann nach.

Begründung?
Dann müssten ja die Stellen bei Geräten mit On-Screen Tasten oder wo die virtuelle Tastatur angezeigt wird auch schneller verschleissen als der Rest des Displays, so oft, wie man da drauf tippt.

Nö Mein aktuelles 5.7" ist kleiner als mein vorheriges 5.5" und viel kleiner als mein erstes Chinaphone, ein ZP900 Leader mit 5.3".
Wenn ich mir die Abmessungen der jetztigen "bezelless" 6" anschaue, bewegen die sich unterhalb meines MI Note 2.

PS: Ich hatte so gehofft, dass irgendein ein China Hersteller (Xiaomi oder BBK oder Huawei) der erste ist, der diesen Fingerprint unter Glas auf dem Markt bringt. Ich wuensche mir nun, die lassen sich das gleich weltweit so hart patentieren, dass die Obstverkäufer das Nachsehen haben. Apple hatte so in der ersten Ankündigung beim iphone 10 damit getrommelt und als sie es nicht hingekommen haben, wurde die Face ID der neue Heiland
