I had hoped that the "MTK firmware flasher for CECT" is a different flash tool. I have tried already many flash tools like maui META 5.5, MTK Flash Tool 3.2 MTK Flash Tool 4.1 (HungHa Edit, which is really version 2.9), Spiderman and others.

Currently i am able to readback the firmware for any CECT599 using MTK Flash Tool. I edited the bootloader of the HungHa version to make it suitable for the CECT 599 with firmware containing a +. (A23+... and A23+_mul...) See attached screenshot.


I still mis one (small) part and that is the automatic determination the NOR_SIZE of the phone. Once i have got that i strongly believe i am able to read and flash the CECT 599 with NOR 0x00EC, 0x227E, 0x2263, 0x2260

Hi dear, can you post somewhere (rapidshare - megaupload) a A23+ firmware in .BIN format ?
I killed my phone an I need to reupload a valid image (that I can't do before kill) (In effect I killed during try to readback flash .

also einige werden mich vieleicht kennen ans anderen Boards rund um GSM oder mein Onlineshop ...
Jetzt hat mich ein Kunde angesprochen wegen CECT Flash Kabel und hat gesagt ich sollte mich hier mal anmelden
Wenn Ihr fertige Kabel braucht kann ich welche in China oder in Germany herstellen lassen zu einem guten Preis für Endkunden, benötige dazu nur ein paar zuverlässige Infos. Stecker hätte ich jetzt schon da (CECT 599 18Pin Connector) wenn jemand was brauchen sollte einfach melden.

Bei den CECT 599 Flash Kabel sehe ich das GND oft belegt ist, ist das nötig oder reicht nur 1 oder 2 Pin am Connector?

Hallo ich hab auch die ein oder andre Frage und vieleicht auch eine kleine Info also erstens mal ich hatte damals Qtopia auf meinem Sx1 ist ein relativ unstabiles system und man konnte nichtmal mit telephonieren andererseits hat das Sx1 auch einen ARM prozessor mit 233mhz drin was drauf schließen lässt das es am Prozessor einglich nichtscheitern sollte.

Jetzt zu meinen Fragen
1. Ich hab mir jetzt ein P169 bestellt ist das jetzt ein koplett anderes phone und kann ich dann mit dem forum hir ganix anfangen?
2.Wenns ein anders ist gibts dazu auch irgend wo ein Forum oder ähnliches finde zu dem Handy nicht sonderlich viel.

so des wars auch schon ich hoff das zählt nicht als Spam finde es wirklich ein interessantes Thema und bin auch zu jeglicher hilfe bereit

Also die ersten beiden Videos kenne ich schon, sind ja immerhin seit mehr als einem Monat auf YouTube.

Das Auslesen und beschreiben der Firmware ist mit dem Kabel kein Problem.

Das dritte...man müsste einfach irgendwie an diese Firmware kommen. Leider geht der Link beim Video nicht..

Hallo,

geht das auch mit dem CECT B889 bzw. baugleichen? Versuche nämlich durchs flasehn wieden Engineer Mode zu bekommen, da dies ja wohl nicht anders geht.

Dazu müsstest du ja die komplette Tastenbelegung, sprich das Layout ändern! Das wird wohl ne ganze Ecke komplizierter!
